They say that behind every great man is a great woman.

I wonder what was said of the woman who supported a whole brotherhood.

This piece came to me as a continuation of the Temple Priestess archetype —

another expression of the same energy, seen through a different lens.

The Lens of Juliet - Healer to the Knights Templar

The Knights Templar were a religious order of knights dedicated to protecting pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land. They were the protectors of the new world order that was arising as the western world adopted Christianity, and with it began the age of Pisces.

The Templars are shrouded in mystery, and are thought to have explored and implemented esoteric knowledge as well as astrology in their rituals and practices.

I have a sense of what may have given the knights their edge.

I believe that Juliet, a French born woman was their healer.

She travelled with them, and gave healing sessions to support the Knights' mental, physical, emotional, sexual and spiritual wellbeing.

She was a revolutionary force.

She learnt healing techniques from teachers and those she met along the pilgrimage routes, as well as in Jerusalem and neighbouring Algiers. Combining knowledge from Eastern and Western traditions she offered a unique repertoire of healing massages that worked on all levels of a person's being and ensured that the Knights were truly aligned, with mental clarity, connected to their life force energy and with their inner fires burning brightly. This special treatment allowed their minds, bodies and souls to be fully attuned to the tasks at hand and the greater purpose they served.

I believe Juliet was a healer, a shaman and a temple priestess, using the ancient sexual arts blended with the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit to keep her massages new, fresh and invigorating. She supported the Knights to feel their virility and answer their calls to action, to release the trauma of battle from their bodies and to hold and comfort them in times of sadness and loss.

How did this information come into my awareness?

In Autumn of 2024, I visited a spiritual healer on his lands in Cornwall. The land there is steeped in myth and legend and I intuited a great deal from being on these special lands by the Camel Estuary. I discovered that this land was a old sanctuary for the Templars and that my host and I shared a past life there, as brother and sister.

My Cornish host and I are both blessed with a strong connection to spirit and when we came together it was like our channel to spirit expanded, we received downloads of information multiple times a day and this is how we were able to receive the wisdom from the land and our past soul incarnations. We were able to check the information we received with our own and each other's internal guidance systems.

What started out as a therapy exchange, turned into something far more profound as through our deep and extensive work together it felt like we were connecting the dots of a much bigger picture.

As I gave bodywork to my host, I found myself intuitively knowing new techniques, as I felt Juliet working though me. I felt her guidance in my strokes and I also felt her anger at an old betrayal.

During one healing session I had a vision of Juliet being secretly observed without her knowing, as she was giving healing to her Knights. I imagine that her techniques were mysterious and either met with much suspicion or envy. Some may have believed that she had tapped into some key truths about cultivating rejuvenation and youthfulness, perhaps even that her work was linked to the Holy Grail and there were some who coveted her knowledge.

I have a strong sense that a young merlin would stop at nothing to understand her work. But he only managed to elicit some elements, what was visible, which was far from the full picture.

After supporting Juliet to release her rage at this ancient and deep betrayal, I contemplated that had this not happened, I may not have found my way back to his work, and to these lands.

The techniques I had learned thus far found their way back to me in this lifetime through merlin's soul lineage and for that I am grateful, as I can now continue Juliet’s legacy, reuniting all elements of her work within me.

I hope to continue to combine forces with her brother, and grow and learn together for the good of Knights everywhere that this may ripple out and bring healing to all of humanity.

The Code of Honour

The Knights’ conduct was governed by a Code of Honour. Some of the key characteristics that a Knight cultivated were Integrity, Loyalty, Courage, Dignity, Fairness, Grace and Compassion.

These core principles formed the heart of the Knights’ code and were viewed as essential elements of a noble and virtuous life.

A knight who embodied these qualities was believed to be a true spiritual servant and an example for others to follow.

As the Knights Templar were a close brotherhood I imagine Juliet had to operate a strict ‘no favourites’ policy in order to live peacefully amongst them.

Whilst she fulfilled their sexual needs, keeping rivalries and sexual frustration at bay, she will have maintained strict boundaries

and her gifts were respected and in exchange,

she received honour and protection.

A Powerful Healer

Juliet was a woman with extraordinary abilities and vision that was beyond her time. With the knights she was able to express her gifts fully and to feel valued and of service. Most importantly, their protection allowed her to travel extensively, and she visited spiritual teachers and picked up tools and techniques along the way.

I suspect that she received a great deal of pleasure and fulfilment from the healing sessions she gave to the Knights and that they supported her on her own healing journey ~ but that is a story for another day.

Initiation

After a successful quest, a Knight would be formally Initiated by King Arthur at Camelot.

I am led to wonder whether a more private initiation was also part of this process of becoming a Knight.

Juliet and myself share a soul lineage with a Temple Priestess in ancient Greece, whose role was to initiate men into the world of sex and pleasure.

As Knighthood usually preceded marriage, perhaps a sexual initiation was part of this rite of passage, serving both as a ritual to prepare the Knight for marriage as well as introducing him to the techniques of sexual healing.

Why is this coming into my awareness now?

We are living through a time of change.

A subtle but profound shift in how we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the world around us.

There is a growing awareness of the importance of presence, connection and integrity.

Of living in alignment with something deeper.

And with this comes a quiet call.

For men to reconnect with a sense of purpose.

To embody strength, not as control,

but as presence.

Not as dominance,

but as devotion.

A remembering of what it means to stand in integrity,

to act with care,

to live with honour.

Not as something imposed from the outside,

but as something that arises from within.

In Practice;

I see many parallels between this code of honour and the qualities of an embodied, grounded masculine.

Not something to aspire to in theory,

but something to live.

To feel in the body.

To express in the way you relate to yourself,

and to others.

During our time together, this is not something we simply talk about.

It is something you experience.

Through presence,

through touch,

through the way we meet.

A space where strength softens into awareness.

Where control gives way to connection.

Where devotion is not demanded,

but naturally arises.

I hold this code within myself,

and I meet you from that place.

If this speaks to something within you,

there is space here to explore it.

To reconnect with your body,

your strength,

and your own sense of devotion.
